Female (from 22°11'S, 64°53'E): 259, habitus (dorsal); 260, idem (lateral left side); 261, A2; 262, Md (mandibular palp); 263, Mx1; 264, Mx2; 265, Mxp.
Nota: Head and 1st thoracic segment fused, 4th and 5th fused. Rostrum robust with a single point. A1 exceeding furca by about 5 segments. Md palpus with 3 setae; blade resembling that of
P. ovalis Sars. Mx1 with 5 setae on 2nd inner lobe, 4 setae and a small spine on the endopod, 3 setae on the exopodal and 1 seta on a lobe located just ventrad of the exopod. Setae on lobes 1-5 of Mx2: 8, 3, 3, 3, 3, respectively.P1 to P4 with 3-segmented exopds and endopods. P5 with 3-segmented exopods, 2-segmented endopods.
