Species Labidocera panamae - Plate 1 of morphological figuresissued from : A. Fleminger in Bull. Mar. Sci., 1979, 29 (2). [p.186, Fig.15].
Male (from 09°33.5'N, 78°42.5'W): a, thorax and urosome (lateral, right side); b, same (dorsal); c, right A1 (dorsal); d, right exopod of P2 (posterior; setae omitted); e, P5 omitting chela (posterior; terminal segment of left leg imperfect position); f, terminal segment of left P5 (posterior); g, P5 chela (posterior); h, same (anterior).

Female: i, thorax with P5 and urosome (lateral, left side; segmentation and setation incomplete).

Species Labidocera panamae - Plate 2 of morphological figuresissued from : A. Fleminger & E. Moore inBull. Mar. Sci., 1977,27 (3). [p.528, Figs.25-30].
Female (from 09°27'N, 79°47'W): 25, cephalon (lateral); 26, 5th thoracic segment and urosome (dorsal); 27, same (ventral); 28, same (lateral, right side); 29, same (left lateral); 30, P5 (posterior).
Nota: Genital segment distinguished by large unevenly bilobed swelling extending from right side; genital pore ventral but weakly left of center (as in L. wilsoni)., in dorsal view epidermis of bilobed swelling glandular in appearance

Rem.: coastal.
For Fleminger & Moore (1977, p.527) the species is most like wilsoni, departing from in the shape of the thoracic corners and in the conspicuous swelling from the right side of the genital segment.
