Ref.:
Park, 1980 (p.74, Descr.M, figs.M, Rem)
Species Scolecithricella sp.1 - Plate 1 of morphological figuresIssued from : T. Park in Biology of the Antarctic Seas IX. Antactic Res. Ser., 1980, 31 (2). [p.73, Fig.25).
Male (from Antarctic): a-b, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); c, forehead (lateral); d, rostrum (anterior view); e, A2; f, Md; g, Mx1; h, distal part of Mx2; i, Mxp; j, P1 (anterior); k, P2 (posterior); l, P3 (posterior); m, P4 (posterior); n, P5 (anterior); o, right P5 exopod (anterior).

Nota: Urosome nearly 1/2 as long as prosome.
- 2nd urosomal segment almost equal to combined lengths of 2 following segments.
- Rostrum with 2 strong rami, each terminating in a delicate sensory filament.
A1 reaching about distal end of prosome, with 8th to 12th segments fused; 20th and 21th segments fused in right A1 but separated in left.
- A2, Md, Mx1, Mx2, Mxp as in S. dentipes male except that basis of Md with 3 minute setae instead of 2, and , as in S. psudopropinqua and S. valida, 3 distal setae of Mxp coxa well developed.
- P1 to P4 similar to those of S. dentipes male.
