Male (Nankauri Harbour, Nicobar Is.): A, habitus (dorsal); B, urosome (ventral); C, A1; D, exopod of P4. Nota: Anterior border of the head rounded, with a pair of minute hairs or projections spring from the surface between the origins of A1. A pair of well-developed and deeply pigmented eyes. Genital segment oval in shape. Caudal rami widely divergent, each bears 4 setae, of which 3 arise from the distal end, while the 4th arises from a low rounded swemming on the posterior and inner margin, directed backwards. A1 about one-third of the body-length, 5-segmented (the line of separation of the 2nd and 3rd segments apparently incomplete; proportional lengths of the various segments as 15:22:12:26:25 = 100; there is a distinct hinge-joint between the 4th and 5th segments.
