| | | | | | Syn.: | Cymbasoma tumorifrons : Suarez-Morales & Alvarez-Silva, 2001, figs.F) | | | Ref.: | | | Suarez-Morales & Morales-Ramirez, 2009 (p.1264, Rem.); Grygier & Suarez-Morale, 2018 (p.504: Rem.). | issued from : E. Suarez-Morales & C. Alvarez-Silva in Pacific Sc., 2001, 55. [p.185, Figs.1-5]. As Cymbasoma tumorifrons. Female (from Zihuatanejo, W Mexico): 1-2, habitus (dorsal and ventral, respectively); 3, head and oral papilla (lateral left side); 4, right A1; 5, details of cephalic sensillae (dorsal; (figure rotated 90°). Designation armature elements of A1 follows Grygier & Ohtsuka, 1995: 6aes: aesthetasc very strongly developed. Nota: Cephalothorax slightly more than 55 % of total body length. Oral papilla moderately protuberant, located 25 % of way back along ventral surface of cephalothorax. forehead with 2 sensillae. Ocelli present, pigment cups large, very close to each other, barely separated by a distance less tha 20 % the diameter of the cup. Eyes almost unpigmented, round in dorsal view, asymmetrically arranged as seen in dorsal and ventral views. A1 relatively short, representing almost 18 % of total body length, and about 31 % as long as cephalothorax; 2 apparent segments, purported segments 2-4 demarcated by constrictions along margin (broad arrows in fig.4); length ratio of antennular segments (considering fusion) 14.3:85.7 = 100., and considering all 4 purported segments (proximal to distal) 14.3:32.4:10.8:42.5 = 100.

issued from : E. Suarez-Morales & C. Alvarez-Silva in Pacific Sc., 2001, 55. [p.186, Figs.6-14]. As Cymbasoma tumorifrons. Female (from Zihuatanejo, W Mexico): 6, habitus (lateral); 7, urosome with P5 and paortion of ovigerous spines (ventral); 8, same (lateral); 9, anal somite and furcal rami (dorsal); 10, ovigerous spines (ventral (doted line indicates suggested length); 11, terminal exopodal segment of left P1 (anterior); 12, terminal exopodal segment of left P3 (anterior); 13, basipodal seta of P4; 14, basipodal seta of P3. Nota: P5 consisting of single ramus, widely divergent, armed with 3 lightly setulates setae, inner margins with single, longitudinal row of papillalike cuticular processes. Urosome consisting of 3 somites (5th pedigerous somite, genital double somite, plus the anal somite).
